a scientific theory is based on observations or can be checked against observations.
The principles of science:
The same observations can be achieved
- independent from the observing person/device (Independence)
- when the same experiment is conducted (Repeatability)
Magical phenomenons can be experienced rather by a feeling. Some may have the feeling some may have not. Or the the feeling may not reoccur. But nevertheless, the impression that something was there lingers, that not all was just imagination. However, we can not describe these personal sensitivity scientifically. Does that mean it doesn't exit? Maybe we will find a way to describe magic in scientific terms. Today we have to rely on our common sense what to believe and what not. We don't have the ground truth of a scientific basis. Nevertheless, we will start trying.
