THE PHOENIX

The Phoenix represents the connection between the Sun and the Earth. The Phoenix dies and is reborn from it's ashes representing the seasons with the death of nature in winter and the rebirth of nature in spring. A Mythical Bird connected to the element of Fire appears in many mythologies.

in early Christian art, literature and Christian symbolism, as a symbol of Christ representing his resurrection, immortality.

In the Mediterranean cultures is was a symbol for the sun, roayalty and wealth. In Egyptian Mythology the Phoenix is closely associated with the rising sun and the Egyptian sun-god Ra. The Greek associated it with the god Apollo.

In Persian mythology, the Phonix was named Simurgh.

The Chinese Phonix is a symbol for elegance and benevolence.
