THE ORDER AND THEORY

The number 5 represents the human hand and thus the using of tools and knowledge.

A human hand has five fingers. Thus, counting with one hand will give five different numbers. Therefore, the basic type of order consists of five entities. Number five is the number of engineering, architecture and transforming the environment to the humans likings.

The number 5 is connected to sensual awareness in the form of the five senses as well as protection. It is also a number which represents service to others. It is highly analytical and has the ability to think critically, but can over-ponder an issue to the point that its significance is no longer relevant. This number governs our ability to think clearly and our intellectual capacity. Five represents openness to new experiences as well as new ideas. Seeking freedom, it is often the adventurer. Five is about pushing life to its limits. It is a multifaceted number with links to our state of physical and mental health. The number five is sometimes referred to, if presented in a negative manifestation, as the "addiction" number, meaning that "all things in moderation" is a good thing, but too much of anything can become negative.
The nature, represented by the four directions, is given a center. In the old days the center was always the place of government and the central province was the province of the king.
Cities were often founded on the four crossroads. Thus, the number five represents the seed of setlements and civilisation itself.
The circle is divided into five entities. Connecting the entities subsequently gives a pentagon. Connecting the opposite entities gives a pentagram.
