CULTURAL TRADITIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST
The worldwide oldest written documents belong to the Mesopotamian Mythology with its cultural traditions of Sumer, Babylon and Assur.
The traditions of Persia and the Persian Mythology developed more idepentendly from the Mesopotamian culture. Nevertheless, the former had a tremendous influence on the later. Especially, the principles developed by Zoroastrianism were introduced in the belief systems of the Middle East.
All these ancient cultures had a lot of influences on the Abrahamic Religions.
