THE SLEIPNIR PROJECT

This project addresses people who want to discuss topics at the border of our today knowledge. How to browse the projec, see our Usage Page. This side has a collection of topics taken from Science, Magic, Art, and Fun and Sports. All the articles published here should be handled in an unorthodox and open mind.

We want to explore into new realms of mind and thought. Especially, we will focus on the the links between all the different topics. May they be far apart or controversial. Furthermore, the cross over between science and mythology will play an important role.

The project's name, Sleipnir, was taken from the Norse mythology. The name signifies the eight legged horse of the Norse god Odin.

The horse has given man the physical freedom of movement. Thus, in almost every mythological legend the horse is the token for free movement not only in the physical but also in the spiritual worlds. There is the mighty winged Pegasus, the stallions of the Hindu sun god, the stallions of Apollo, and much more. Many legends speak of the horse as being clairvoyant and able to provide humans with magical powers.

Thus, the purpose of this side to explore unknown realms of mind and reality is symbolized by the mythological horse Sleipnir.
